August 18, 2020

Dear Palisades Ohana,

First, despite this pandemic health crisis, I am proud of how we continue to work together as August 17 and 18 has helped to familiarize our keiki with online learning and technology.

I want to take this time to thank you and our Palisades students for accomplishing the skills and mindset for distance learning beginning August 24-September 11.

Just a reminder, there will be no school tomorrow August 19 and 20, except for SPED and ELL students who opted to attend.

Parents who decided to keep their child at home on August 17 and 18, you will need to come tomorrow, August 19 between the hours of 7:45AM-11:00AM and 11:45-5:30PM to pick up your child's school supplies, learning materials, and computer/ hotspot (if you requested one).

For parents who opted in for 100% distance learning with Acellus, there will be a Google Meets meeting tomorrow August 19 at 5:30PM and if you requested to borrow a computer and/or hotspot come by on Thursday August 20 from 8AM-3PM.

All families (Distance learning with Palisades teachers and 100% distance learning with Acellus) must return the following documents: Student Publication/Audio/Video Release Form; Technology Responsible Use Form (if new to the school); Chromebook/hotspot Lending Agreement form (if you requested one).

Lastly, please continue to support our school food service with take out meals. Beginning tomorrow August 19 - September 11, students will be able to get take out meals for breakfast (served 7:00-7:30AM) and lunch (11:00-12:00PM) at our pickup/dropoff area.

Stay Safe, Healthy, and Practice our Social Distancing and Masks Wearing.

Your Proud Principal,

Gavin Tsue
