School Messenger

Good communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity--Nat Turner

What is SchoolMessenger?

On August 27, 2018 the DOE implemented an SMS (text messaging) system called School Messenger. The DOE and Palisades Elementary use School Messenger to notify parents and guardians regarding important DOE and school message through phone calls and emails.

In order to receive notifications, please make sure that all of your contact information is current.

You may also choose to receive text messages. If you would like to receive texts, the Security and Emergency Preparedness Branch is advising that you download the "SchoolMessenger" app from the App Store, Google Play or go to the School Messenger website.

After downloading, enter your email address and a password. You will receive an email to verify your registration. You can setyour message preferences (text, email, and/or phone). Ability to receive messages will not occur until two weeks after your initial opt-in date. The short message code from School Messenger is "67587".
